Step 8. Just keep track of running the commands a-b-c-d-a etc. You don't need to write each answer. Note any comments as you're going along. An example after a while:

Repeat 8a-8d until flat, "until the identity no longer is present as a self-replicating entity, the client is much bigger than the identity and expresses having had a big gain/realization/change."
