Notes

PaulsRobot is designed mostly for individuals to act as their own session supervisor, unless there is a professional available who is trained specifically in this stuff. It is usually a bad idea to decide mid-session on a new session plan for the ongoing session. End the session first, take a breather, then work out what to do in the next session.

Here are some example session plans. You don't have to stick to these, but it might be advisable, at least to begin with.

Example session plan #1

  1. Ensure you're ready for the session, with enough food, sleep, not under the influence, and enough time available in a location where you won't get disturbed by the kids, pets, telephone etc.
  2. Follow the instructions for the session procedure exactly as given, including the notes on the right-hand side of the session pages.
  3. Check through the descriptions for Phase 0, Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3. Fill in any missing holes before Phase 3.
  4. Do the session per your session plan until you reach a good point, as specified in the Rizzo session end point page. Then click on the relevant links and write the relevant session-ending information on the session report you have been writing throughout the session.
