False Data Stripping is a simple procedure completely under the user's control to discover "false" information he has come across that has tied up his thinking by conflicting with "true" information in any particular subject. The person is not usually aware of the specific conflict, although he is usually aware of not being able to think with the part of the subject in question.

FDSing is not a magical way of determining the absolute truth or falsity of statements, but it is good for spotting conflicts of understanding that have made one foggy in some parts - or the whole - of a subject or area.
