Look around here and find . . .

Look around here means look around the room you are in, at obvious visible objects there. And in the context here, have = see, touch, occupy, allow to be as it is.

Respond to commands aloud

Speak! Give the appropriate responses aloud, such as Yes! or the lamp over there.

Try another one

If 5-10 commands of one procedure doesn't work well for you, try another one.

Run a good one until flat

Run the procedure(s) until flat, i.e. no more change, and you are fully back in the here and now.
