Notes:

Thoughts

Focus on the thoughts and ideas — both yours and others' — in your scene. This includes:
  • Considerations
  • Decisions
  • Conclusions
  • Fixed ideas (true or false)
  • Beliefs
  • Agreements
  • Any attitudes or states of mind not covered in the emotion group.
It is understood that that your idea of what others are thinking may be wrong. Or it may be right too.

Say the thoughts aloud!

Vocalise all the thoughts, yours and others'. Say them aloud, don't just think them. Really!

Add to elements/characters

After you've run through the scene, especially with the focus on different aspects, new things often come to view that you didn't think of before. That's fine. If they seem important, just create something appropriate and add it to the stage. Remember to add the labels so you don't forget what the things are if it is not obvious.
