Notes:Part 1a — General clean-upThis involves addressing and releasing stress from the main areas of your life that are consuming your attention. This does not include your loved one especially, as that area will be addressed in Part 2, although if items involving your loved one come up it is OK to address them here.This first step is expected to take the most time. There is no "correct" amount of time to spend on it. It might take one hour; it might take a hundred. The purpose here is simply to help get you into a state where you are calm and at peace with yourself, your loved one, and the world. If you have already spent a considerable time on stress-release actions or relaxation techniques, there may be nothing needing to be addressed at this point.
