Notes:

Part 1a — General clean-up

This involves addressing and releasing stress from the main areas of your life that are consuming your attention. This does not include your loved one especially, as that area will be addressed in Part 2, although if items involving your loved one come up it is OK to address them here.

This first step is expected to take the most time. There is no "correct" amount of time to spend on it. It might take one hour; it might take a hundred. The purpose here is simply to help get you into a state where you are calm and at peace with yourself, your loved one, and the world. If you have already spent a considerable time on stress-release actions or relaxation techniques, there may be nothing needing to be addressed at this point.

Part 1b — Sharing thoughts and emotions and images

This involves getting accustomed to communicating with another without using your body's eyes and ears, and enhancing your ability to do so.

Part 1c — Long-distance communications

This is a relatively brief section about telepathy and life after death.
