Method 5 more recent

This "Method 5" option is (somewhat) suited to PaulsRobot for extreme upsets. The option in use in 1963 when the client was "out of it" was to deliver the lines to the person with enough intention to get through to them, and to indicate any items that read on the meter. Eventually the person would be able to communicate about what was going on, at which point the usual method of assessing the list and getting client feedback on each question could be used.

List1 Method 5

Follow the instructions 1-6!

This list is usually done by Method 3 Assessment, i.e., starting at Question 1 and going down the list, taking up each "reading" question at the time it bites. For a severe upset, it can also be done Method 5, as detailed here:

  1. Here, look down the whole list, and don't take up the first line that bites but take up the biggest item you can see on the whole list
  2. Click the link/line. It will open up a new browser window. Handle that line
  3. Then, instead of clicking the link there for the next line on the list, • Close out the extra window •
  4. Then reload/refresh this (full-list) window to play the audio command, and look through the list again and find the now-hottest line
  5. Click the link for that new line. It will open up a new browser window. Handle that line
  6. Repeat until the upset has cooled off somewhat, then do this list1 by the normal method.
