Notes:

Parallel address

If there are two incidents (shown here by letters spanning time), ABCD in 1980 and a longer one, abcdefg in 1995, how you run this command depends on how the incidents and their charge appear to you each time you contact them. Maybe the C part (ABCD) will appear more vividly, maybe the e part (abcdefg) will. Maybe abcdefg will consume almost all of your attention and you will only be dimly aware of the ABCD incident. Similarly for more than two incidents.

Go with what works

Simply go with what works, bearing in mind the purpose of this command, below. Move to just before the incidents began means simultaneously put your attention just before every incident, not merely once just before the earliest one. You aren't expected to have a full awareness of the simultaneous views here.

Purpose of the command

The purpose of concentrating your attention on just before it began is to make sure you don't miss the original shock of an incident. The just before should be at a point where you were still feeling relatively normal or like yourself and had not yet been impacted by whatever happened in the incident.
