Notes:

Focus on the positive, not the negative

Self Analysis procedure has the emphasis on the positive, and pushes the negative aside. Negative incidents will come to view, but in this kind of auditing they are ignored. Push them aside if they come up and dig up something positive instead that answers the question and go with that. Continuing to do this will tend to discharge the negative items without even inspecting them closely.

Answer aloud, even if you're alone

Giving a description aloud of what comes to mind helps you to sort out what it is you are remembering. Make a brief note on your worksheet but you don't need to write down all the details unless it is very important to you.
