Write on Report:

The name of the contact procedure
The time at the start of this procedure
When you have executed a command, or set of commands
Any comments as appropriate
For example:

6:18 pm
Poke and Receive
//// //// ///ooh, felt something there //

Notes:

Ping

"Ping your loved one" means sort of mentally send out a signal towards your loved one. It is more gentle than "Poke." It could be a bit like blowing a kiss.

When you have done this, say something aloud, at least "Yes." You do not have to be certain that there has been any definite contact, but you should be certain that you tried for it, even slightly.

Other contact procedures

You can change among these seven contact techniques whenever you wish, but give one a chance to work before moving on.
