Paul giving a session

RAW4: Instructions

AUDIO: (No audio)

Response Options:

Great! Let's do the full pre-session check to make sure I'm ready for the session.

I'm familiar with what is needed and I am fully sessionable. I've set up the session environment. Let's go!

Lemme outta here!

Notes:

Here are general instructions on how to run this session. There are further notes on individual pages that are more specific to those pages.

RAW4 is a Rub & Yawn module

You should know how to counter shutting down with touching stuff and rubbing your chest/arms etc. and discharging the unwanted stress by yawning it off.

RAW4 is not a general stress-release module

If you have some topic that you want to discharge, RAW4 is unlikely to be the best way to do it. Instead, try one of the four basic PaulsRobot modules that cover pretty much all the different ways of addressing and discharging a topic. They are probably best used in the order Core, HeavyDuty, Morph, BasicR3X.

Reach & Withdraw

Reach to _____

Reach to your _____ means sort of mentally feel for it, look at it, or contact it in some way. This can include fully embracing it if you can, but does not have to. If you cannot actually see or sense it, imagine what it looks and feels like in the correct location in relation to body parts that you can see or touch. When you have done this as best you can, it's a good idea to say something aloud, like Yes.

Give yourself a hand

If you're doing R & W on your arm, say, you may find it helpful to touch the arm with your hand. Similarly, if doing R & W on the liver, say, you may find it helpful to put your hand touching your body on top of where your liver is, and imagine yourself reaching into the body with a ghost hand to touch the liver.

Withdraw from _____

Withdraw from _____ means sort of mentally back away from it, put your attention on something else, get further away from it in some way. Even if you already sort of bounced off after a fleeting touch on the Reach step, still try and get further away from it on this Withdraw step - don't simply go, I already did it.

The four human dimensions or levels

The physical body

This one should present no problem at all in terms of familiarity, at least in general terms. But one should devote some time to running the procedure on parts inside the body, like the liver or a bone, for example, simply to get familiar with parts that you know are definitely there even though you cannot see them with your eyes.

Human Energy Field (Aura)

There is a fuller description of the aura here, the chakras here, and the meridians here. The seven bodies of the aura, along with the chakras, are described by various authors. The aura bodies, which get progressively finer, interpenetrate the physical body and each other, each one also extending a little further outside the physical body. The most dense body usually extends a couple of inches from the physical body, while the seventh body, the finest, usually extends about three feet from the physical body. There is a simple exercise one can do to see the denser bodies, which most people can manage. The Chinese meridian system, along with its associated acupuncture points, could be considered to be part of this aura level too, and can be addressed here also.

Notes (continued):

Hara

There is a fuller description here. The hara is a whole level deeper than the aura. Two of its three main parts are described by many authors.

Core star

There is a fuller description here. The core star level is yet a further level deeper.

RAW4 session end point

The end point for a RAW4 session is covered here.

Basic equipment needed

You will need a computer screen, and a mouse. It is possible to do without sound, but most people prefer to have the sound turned on and listen to the commands as well as being able to read them, and often make comments aloud. You can usually remain seated throughout the session. You will need usual session things like worksheets and pens, and a clock or watch. Many people keep worksheets onscreen, using Notepad or a similar application.

Before starting the session

It is assumed that you know enough to only start the session when you have had enough sleep and are not tired; you have eaten enough good food (not junk food) and you are not hungry or thirsty; you are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol; you have set up a safe auditing environment and are not going to be disturbed by outside factors while you are in session (also turn off your mobile phone, radio etc.); and you have enough time for the session.

Shutting down

If you feel yourself shutting down, recognize it as such. Hit the red Shutting Down link, and then rub stuff and yawn for as long as needed to get rid of the shutting down. End off dealing with the shutting down when you can rub away for a full minute by the clock without getting any more yawns. Close out the Shutting Down window, and continue the process where you left off.

If you feel you need some energy exchange during the session, but aren't particularly shutting down, that's OK, your choice. Make a note in your worksheets, and just start rubbing and yawning away. Once you start rubbing, rub for a full minute by the clock without any yawns before ending off, though.

Have a written session plan before you start the session

You should have a written session plan before you start. Here are a dozen examples you might find useful. You can write this yourself if you don't have someone else acting as your session supervisor. The reason for writing it is so that you know exactly what you will be doing in the session, and don't go off on some wild tangent. You should not do a session without a written session plan which you keep to in session. If the session plan turns out to not be working in session, then end off the session and write a different session plan outside of session. Why? In a heavy session one's analytical thinking powers will be tied up with dealing with the session phenomena and there won't be enough clear thinking ability remaining to make a sensible plan on the spot. Outside the session one can usually think much straighter.

Use the Robot commands

These sessions go much better if you follow the instructions and allow the Robot to give the commands and run the session. If you stop clicking the links and try to do it all in your head instead it really doesn't work so well.
