Notes:RudimentsFast actionRudiments are quick actions to set the case up ready to run, a sort of flick, flick, whisk broom action to achieve a quick key-out and then you're done. The heavy-lifting type of process, the main action, is what you use to run the case with at length, not rudiments.Rud won't runIt can happen that a rud (like an ARC Break) won't resolve because another rud (like a Missed Withhold) is out. If you must, it is OK to abandon one and fly another instead. You may need to go back and finish off the one you abandoned, though.Different session plansThe session supervisor might call for flying "a rud" or "3 ruds" or "6 ruds."Green FormIf NO rud will fly (i.e., resolve easily and you feel good), then the standard Scn remedy is to do a Green Form. If that isn't available, and you can't fix the trouble, the usual PaulsRobot Troubleshooter may well work fine as long as you follow the instructions.Correction lists are considered to be rudimentsA correction list like an L1C is considered to be a rudiment-type action to set someone up to do a major case action. It is not considered to be a major action in itself.PrepcheckQuestions based on the 20 prepcheck buttons are included in this Rudiments section too. If you don't know what a Prepcheck is all about, there are also explanations on the linked page.Add in Rub & Yawn if you wish |
