The name of the contact procedure
The time at the start of this procedure
When you have executed a command, or set of commands
Any comments as appropriate
For example:

Poke and Receive

Notes:

Hello and OK

"Say hello to your loved one" means what it says. Do it with the intention that the communication be received. The "hello" is usually said aloud, despite the circumstances.

When you have done this, say something aloud, at least "Yes." You do not have to be certain that there has been any definite contact, but you should be certain that you tried for it, even slightly.

You can change among these seven contact techniques whenever you wish, but give one a chance to work before moving on.
