Notes:

Send a message

"Send a message to your loved one" means sort of mentally send out a message, short or long, towards your loved one. It might be a poem, a report on what the grandkids did at school today, a song, whatever. If it is a long message, do it in bits, alternating every now and then with the companion command, "Listen for your loved one."

When you have sent a chunk of it, say something aloud, at least "Yes." You do not have to be certain that the message has been received, but you do have to be certain that you sent it.

Other contact procedures

You can change among these seven contact techniques whenever you wish, but give one a chance to work before moving on.
